USU PR - Alumni Association (IKA) Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) held an International Seminar & Inauguration IKA FEB Committee 2022 - 2026 themed "Building the Effective Business Leader in the Digital Era and Navigating an Uncertain Future" in USU Auditorium on Thursday, (11/10/2022).

This activity presented speakers from the International Institute for Management Development (IMD business school) who discussed leadership and understanding of various issues in the future.

Vice Rector I for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and USU Alumni Dr. Edy Ikhsan, SH, MA explained that the association was formed to establish friendship. That way all elements can together face the digital era and are able to adapt together.

International Seminar & Inauguration Committee Chairman Rahmat Widia Sembiring, SE., M.Sc. IT, PhD, said that this celebration was an important momentum for all alumni, especially USU's FEB, to gather and provide service for USU towards the global stage.

"This activity celebrates IKA FEB, this is an important momentum for all alumni, especially USU's FEB, we want to gather all of them and then give dedication to become a way for USU to go global," Rahmat Widia Sembiring, SE., M.Sc. IT, PhD said.

On the same occasion, USU's Dean of FEB Dr. Fadli, SE, M.Si hopes that the management of IKA FEB USU through academic activities such as sharing sessions through podcasts and seminars can build emotional bonds between alumni, academics, and students.

"The management of IKA FEB USU is officially his management. He has carried out activities almost every week, be it podcasts or seminars, especially inviting practitioners who are also alumni of USU's FEB and also for the general public, the events are both academic in nature and to build emotional bonds," explained Dr. Fadli, SE, M.Sc.
