USU Medical Faculty Commemorates International Pathology Day

The Pathology Study Program, Faculty of Medicine (FK) Universitas Sumatera Utara held the commemoration of International Pathology Day, National Health Day, and the 72nd anniversary of the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI).

The activity took place in the USU Auditorium Lobby, on Sunday (11/13/2022).
Rector of the Universitas Sumatera Utara Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Sc. said that the national health day held by the pathology study program had various events such as leisure walks, healthy exercise, talk shows, blood sugar checks, uric acid, cholesterol, blood type as well as games and door prizes distribution.
"Yes, this event has a discussion about Health which was pioneered by the USU FK panthology study program," he said.
The Rector of USU also said that this leisurely walk is not only healthy but can make the mind healthy and clear, and can make people who follow it become closer to one another.
The Rector also hopes that the pathology doctor will continue to maintain good relations with all the participants who take part in this activity and give messages about health such as exercise to live a healthy life.
Vice Dean I of the USU Faculty of Medicine Dr. dr. Delyuzar, M.Ked(PA), Sp.PA(K) said that USU was appointed as the coordinator of the system rights for Western Indonesia, to support medical faculties in Western Indonesia to continue to develop by increasing graduates for 9 diseases, one of which is is pathology.
"I hope that all pathologies will remain united by improving services to the community," Deputy Dean I of USU FK said.
Chairman of the Committee Dr. dr. Jelita Siregar, M.Ked(Clin Path), Sp.PK hopes that the 3 associations that are currently being established will remain united and united in improving national health.
"Hopefully the 3 associations that are being established will remain compact and stay united in order to provide improved national health services to the community because this activity is participated by national panthology doctors," she concluded. (©ULC)
