Built in 1959 and started with a spirit of innovation that continues to grow, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) has become an institution that produces excellent graduates in various fields of expertise, especially in the exact field. The faculty offers 4 undergraduate programs, 4 master's programs, and 4 doctoral programs, all of which have good accreditation. FMIPA USU has a main focus on developing the theory and application of science in exact fields, such as mathematics and natural sciences, by providing effective and interactive learning to students. Managed by the best and experienced teaching staff in the field of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, and supported by adequate facilities, we are committed to guiding our students to become reliable experts who are able to compete at the national and international levels. FMIPA graduates have broad career prospects, including as scientists, researchers, and teaching staff in various institutions and industries.
