The control system developed is based on Arduino and the Internet of Things (IoT). First, students understand the basic principles of instrumentation and metrology, including the concepts of measuring and controlling physical quantities. They learn about various instruments and measuring devices used in various contexts. Next, students focus on the application of microcontroller technology, especially Arduino, in the development of control systems. They learn how to design, program, and implement effective and efficient control systems. Then, students study the development of systems for detecting physical quantities, such as temperature, humidity, gas, and distance, using appropriate sensors. They understand how to integrate these sensors with microcontrollers to monitor and control these physical quantities. Finally, students undertake practical projects involving the development of Arduino and IoT-based control and detection systems. They have the opportunity to design and build innovative solutions for various applications.

Metrology has two main branches, namely Legal Metrology and Industrial Metrology. First, Legal Metrology is a branch of metrology related to the implementation of measurements regulated by legal rules, especially those that have an impact on trade transactions, health, and safety. Students understand the regulations governing measurement to ensure fairness and security in trade transactions, as well as to meet established health and safety standards. Secondly, Industrial Metrology deals with matters that support measurement precision in industry. Students learn techniques to improve measurement accuracy and precision in an industrial environment. They understand the principles of metrology applied in designing, calibrating, and maintaining measurement instruments used in various industrial sectors.
