1,900 KKNT 2022 Students Released by The Rector of USU
The Rector of USU said that KKNT is in order to support the integration of the application of teaching, research, and service values in order to provide practical benefits to the community. USU has an obligation to realize community service.
The Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) held a symbolic release of 1,900 USU Thematic Real Work Lecture (KKNT) students in 2022. The release was carried out by the Rector of USU Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Si in the Courtyard of the USU Central Administrative Bureau Building on Friday (09/02/2022).
The USU KKNT program is based on the Village SDGs of the Kemendes PDTT with the aim of preparing USU students to become graduates with the capacity as true learners who are competent, flexible and resilient (agile learners).
The Rector of USU advised that USU KKNT participants could study in the village with enthusiasm, responsibility, take care of themselves, and maintain the good name of the alma mater. By participating in the KKNT, students can apply their knowledge directly in the field, then get convenience, maintain politeness, and can return healthy and safe.
Secretary of USU's LPPM Meutia Nauly S.Psi., M.Si., Psychologist hopes that this KKNT process can run well in the context of students learning about maintaining politeness, respecting villagers so that KKNT participants get very valuable lessons that can be applied while in the community. between communities.
The head of the USU 2022 KKNT, Ismayadi, S.Kep., NERS M.Kes said that the KKNT participants had to prepare themselves such as maintaining health, then synergizing with the villagers regarding programs that had been prepared and agreed upon by the KKN manager and field assistant lecturers.
"The first is that students must prepare themselves, their health in doing KKN, the second is related to programs that have been agreed with KKN managers and field assistant lecturers," explained the Chair of the USU 2022 KKNT.
