Dr. Nurzainah Receives Hitachi Global Foundation Asia Innovation Award
The Hitachi Global Foundation Asia Innovation Award is an award program launched in 2020 to promote science, technology, and innovation, which contribute to solving social problems and realizing a sustainable society in the ASEAN region.
USU PR: Dr. Ir Nurzainah Ginting, M.Sc, a lecturer at the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), made a brilliant achievement and won the Hitachi Global Foundation Asia Innovation Award 2023. Her research is entitled “Efforts to Find Alternative Antibacterial Solutions as Bio-Disinfectants for Livestock and the Environment”, which takes the big theme “Development of Livestock and Environmentally Friendly Sustainable Alternative Disinfectant (SDA).”
The Hitachi Global Foundation Asia Innovation Award is an award program launched in 2020 to promote science, technology, and innovation, which contribute to solving social problems and creating a sustainable society in the ASEAN region.
The program recognizes individuals and groups who serve the public interest through their outstanding achievements in research and development (R&D) in the field of science and technology to achieve the SDGs.
