HUMAS USU - Celebrating its 69th anniversary, the Faculty of Law of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) organised a number of activities, such as the launch of International Class, Podcast, Blood Donation, Fun Walk, entertainment, and competitions. The activity began with a fun walk which was also attended by USU Rector Dr Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Si, on Saturday morning (18/02/2023).

Carrying the theme, Together We Are Excellent, the Dean of the Faculty of Law USU, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, S.H., M.Hum interpreted the theme with the understanding that all members of the Faculty of Law USU can work together to achieve the vision and mission of USU Faculty of Law. The Faculty of Law of USU also has alumni scattered all over Indonesia and have taken strategic positions in various fields. The faculty is also well equipped with professors and many more resources, which, when put together, can achieve excellence and boost the university's achievements.

"In particular, USU Faculty of Law can have greater power that will certainly enhance/support USU. This is what we mean by Together We Are Excellent," said Mahmul.

The faculty of Law is one of the oldest faculties in USU. Having been active for almost seven decades, USU's Faculty of Law certainly has a series of glorious achievements. Some of these achievements are reflected in the Master of Legal Studies study programme, which has received Excellent accreditation. Not only that but the Faculty of Law USU also has achievements contributed by its students both nationally and internationally.

"The Faculty of Law of USU has achieved a lot. The accreditation of our undergraduate program is Excellent. The master of law accreditation is also Excellent, and the accreditation for postgraduate is Very Good, while the Master of Notary is in the process of re-accreditation. USU Faculty of Law students also make many other achievements," explained the Dean.

Dr Mahmul Siregar, S.H., M.Hum said that his faculty would focus on preparing for international accreditation for the study program Bachelor of Laws as mandated by the USU Rector. After all, study programs at the Faculty of Law USU are accredited Excellent. He also hopes that in the 69th year of the Faculty of Law, the achievements of the faculty will not only be the result of the study programmes but also gained from the students of USU's Faculty of Law.
