LAMSAMA Field Assessment of Math Science Doctoral FMIPA
Field assessment is the process of implementing accreditation assessment of study programs or universities. Therefore, the Dean of USU’s Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Dr. Nursahara Pasaribu, M.Sc., hopes that the maximum effort made for the Doctor’s Program in Mathematics Science accreditation will get the best results.
USU PR - The Natural Sciences and Formal Sciences Self-Accreditation Agency (LAMSAMA) held a field assessment of the Doctor’s Program in Mathematics Science at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU). This activity occurred offline in the Multipurpose Building of FMIPA USU from Monday to Tuesday (27-28/03/2023).
Vice Rector III for Research, Community Service, and USU Cooperation Prof. Dr. Poppy Anjelisa Zaitun Hasibuan, M.Si., Apt. representing USU Rector Prof. Dr. Muryanto Amin S.sos., M.Si welcomed the arrival of the assessor team from LAMSAMA, Prof. Dr. Janson Naiborhu, S.Si., M.Si. from Bandung Institute of Technology and Dr. Swasono Rahardjo, M.Si. from the State University of Malang.
"First of all, we would like to express our gratitude to the LAMSAMA Assessors Team, who have been pleased to attend the assessment activities, the opening of which took place today, as part of the implementation of accreditation activities for the Doctor’s Program in Mathematics Science of USU’s FMIPA," said Prof. Poppy.

"Of course, after the field assessment conducted by our assessors, he will photograph the journey we have done. We hope the Doctor’s Program in Mathematics Science can get maximum results. We have tried to get the best results, "said Dr. Nursahara.
In line with that, field assessor Prof. Dr. Janson Naiborhu, S.Si., M.Si. explained that nine criteria become a reference in verifying various aspects of the Doctor’s Program in Mathematics Science. In two days of field assessment, all the necessary data is expected to be fulfilled with proud results.
"There are many criteria in this assessment, about nine criteria. So pay attention to governance, students, and the academic community and how it develops. So we will collect the data for two days to be collected or reported to LAMSAMA," explained Prof. Janson
