USU Faculty of Law Presents Governor of North Sumatra at PKKMB 2022

Deputy Dean I of USU's Faculty of Law said that to enliven this PKKMB event, the Faculty of Law invited the Governor of North Sumatra to provide motivation so that students do not give up easily to achieve something.
The Faculty of Law (FH) of the Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) presented the Governor of North Sumatra (GubSu) Edy Rahmayadi as a guest at the Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) in 2022. The event took place at the Hall of the Faculty of Law (FH) USU, on Tuesday (09/06/2022).
Vice Dean I FH USU Dr. Agusmidah, SH, M.Hum said that at the PKKMB in 2022, USU's Faculty of Law accepted 507 students and had re-registered. And hopes that USU's FH can get excellent accreditation and achieve international accreditation, in order to become the best law faculty in Indonesia.
Chairperson of the USU PKKMB Emsah Baginta Tarigan said that at the 2019 PKKMB, USU FH invited the Deputy Governor of North Sumatra H. Musa Rajekshah, S.Sos., M.Hum. And at the 2022 PKKMB, USU FH again invited a government figure, namely the Governor of North Sumatra Edy Rahmayadi as a resource person.
The goal is for the Governor to provide motivation, enthusiasm for learning, and good things for new students. And hope that students can accept and apply the spirit of learning at the law faculty.
North Sumatra Governor Edy Rahmayadi in front of USU's Faculty of Law students said that with the existence of law in this world there are several things, namely the existence of justice with the existence of this regional law being fair, and with the existence of this regional law it is useful and the country is organized, thirdly there is certainty, with the existence of law, resilience and social conditions, which include economic, social, and other positions.
Edy Rahmayadi also conveyed several messages, namely that students can not only have dreams but students must also have the will to realize those ideals and learning on campus is not only memorized but must be understood and understood.
"I advised that never be afraid to be honest but be afraid of not being honest," he said. (©ULC)
