"INM (National Quality Indicators) Quality Improvement for Patients has 13 indicators, USU Hospital itself has achieved 8 indicators in the last three months starting from July, August, September and only 5 indicators have not been achieved," the President Director of USU Hospital said.

USU PR - Hospital (RS) Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) held the opening of an accreditation survey by KARS (Hospital Accreditation Commission) in a hybrid manner on Tuesday (11/01/2022).


The accreditation survey by USU KARS will be carried out in a hybrid manner at USU Hospital starting from November 1 - 4, 2022. The surveyor activities will be led by the Head of the KARS Surveyer Team, Mr. drg. Ricky Marscello Rashid MARS.


This surveying activity was carried out in order to improve hospital services and services in taking the trust of better health services for the community according to the USU Hospital motto, namely maintaining and improving quality, safety and friendliness.


In the opening of the USU Hospital KARS survey, the President Director of USU Hospital Dr.dr.Henry Salim Siregar, Sp.OG (K)-FER stated that USU Hospital had achieved 8 of 13 indicators of quality improvement and patient quality based on the National Quality Indicators (INM).


"INM (National Quality Indicators) Quality Improvement for Patients has 13 indicators, USU Hospital itself has achieved 8 indicators in the last three months starting from July, August, September and only 5 indicators have not been achieved," the President Director of USU Hospital said.


Rector of the Universitas Sumatera Utara Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Si explained that USU Hospital, which has the function of education and public services, will continue to strive to conform to hospital standards. The Rector hopes that this accreditation assessment will inspire the USU Hospital community to continue to provide unlimited dedication in humanitarian services as well as strengthening the community in the field of better health in the city of Medan.


“It takes an enormous effort to be able to run according to hospital standards because this hospital has two functions, namely the function of education and provide services to the public. It is hoped that this accreditation assessment will be an encouragement for the USU Hospital community," the USU Rector mentioned. (©ULC)
