USU Participates in QS Higher Ed Summit: Asia Pacific 2022

USU's current students not only come from locally and nationally, but also come from various countries of the world. USU Public Relations - Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) participated in the QS Higher Ed Summit: Asia Pacific 2022 in Jakarta, November 8-11, 2022. The event was held with the aim of expanding partnerships between educational institutions and explaining ranking indicators on Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) .
USU Rector Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Sc., gave material on Equality Opportunity for All, in the event which was attended by participants from various countries in the world.
In his presentation, the Rector explained that USU's transformation was carried out to ensure inclusive education services for all regardless of background.

Muryanto's presentation at the QS forum was also meant to socialize USU's transformation to participants who were present from various countries in the world. This activity is also expected to further enhance and expand inter-institutional partnerships.
In this activity, USU has also signed six letters of intent, including with universities in India and the Philippines.
The Rector said that in this activity new technologies in the field of learning were also discussed. And USU itself is participating in the QS event for the first time by becoming a platinum sponsor.
"We hope that an event like this can accelerate USU's ranking at the Asian and world levels," the Rector said.
For information, currently USU has managed to climb 50 ranks in thQS Asia University Ranking (AUR). In QS AUR 2022 USU's position was ranked 501, then rose 50 levels to 451 in QS AUR 2023. (©ULC)
