USU's PPK Ormawa Imaspera FP Achieves Success at ABDIDAYA

USU PR- The Capacity Strengthening of Student Organizations (PPK Ormawa) Imaspera (Association of Aquatic Resource Management Students) of the Faculty of Agriculture (FP) at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) successfully brought home 3 (three) Medals at the ABDIDAYA ORMAWA 2023 PPK Ormawa Higher Education, Research, and Technology (Diktiristek), at Universitas Jember. The team had an audience with Vice Rector I at the USU Rectorate Building on Wednesday (12/13/2023).
The 13-member student contingent raised the title "Gerakan Satu Rumah Satu Transplantasi Karang dalam Upaya Antisipasi dan Revitalisasi Ekosistem Terumbu Karang Terdampak Tumpahan Minyak di Faekhuna’a"(One House One Coral Transplantation Movement in Anticipation and Revitalization of Coral Ecosystems Affected by Oil Spills in Faekhuna'a). The team won several medals in 3 (three) categories: Gold Medal for Best High Fighting Team One, Silver Medal for Best Three Comprehensive University Support, and Bronze Medal for Best Three Interesting Video.
Vice Rector I for Academic, Student Affairs, and Alumni of USU, Dr. Edy Ikhsan, awarded the team that won the competition. This will encourage other Student Organizations at USU to continue developing and achieving.

The Accompanying Lecturer of PPK Ormawa Imespera Faculty of Agriculture USU Vindy Rilani Manurung, S.Psi., M.P. mentioned that they will continue to develop and enhance their abilities to win in several categories.
“Our target was in the video and the poster; that's where we got the medals. God willing, we will fight again for several categories in the future,” says Vindy.
Chairman of PPK Ormawa Impaspera Idama Dalimunthe expressed that with the raised topic, they could provide solutions for the people of Faekhuna'a village and also be promptly addressed by local or central government.
“Becoming a source of problems for the people in Faikuna village can be quickly addressed by local government and perhaps even make national news,” says Hilal.
