About Universitas Sumatera Utara Dental and Oral Hospital
Officially inaugurated in 2005, the Universitas Sumatera Utara Dental and Oral Hospital (RSGM USU) is a type C hospital that serves as a special academic support service unit, prioritizing services, education, and research. RSGM USU supports dental education that is expected to enhance the quality of teaching and learning processes at the Faculty of Dentistry. The hospital is comprised of ten clinics, namely the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic, Orthodontics Clinic, Prosthodontics Clinic, Dental Conservation Clinic, Oral Medicine Clinic, Periodontics Clinic, Pediatric Dentistry Clinic, Dental Hygiene/Public Health Clinic, Integrated Education Clinic, and General Dentistry Clinic. Besides its educational goals, RSGM USU also serves as a center for public dental health services, with an outpatient care system equipped with medical support services such as a pharmacy, radiology, and sterilization center.
