The Bureau of Asset and Business Management is under the Vice Rector V for Asset and Business. Its establishment gives USU broad autonomy and independence to develop according to its vision and mission. This aligns with the USU Board of Trustees Regulation Number 16 of 2016 concerning the Organization and Governance of Universitas Sumatera Utara. The main tasks of the Bureau of Asset and Business Management include coordinating tasks, coaching, and providing support for asset services, security, and cleanliness to all organizational units at Universitas Sumatera Utara. The bureau utilizes high-value assets and ensures their effective use to optimize the university's revenue.
