Established in 1970, the USU Library is a supporting unit for educational, teaching, research, and community service activities at Universitas Sumatera Utara. The library functions to provide, manage, store, and preserve library materials. Located at the heart of USU, the USU Library has opened 15 branches situated in the faculties and hospitals of USU, implementing an integrated service system with the University Library. With four national awards and eight international awards, the USU Library is committed to being a leading and excellent university library in providing access to global information sources and delivering timely, efficient, and effective services.
