USU PR - Vice Rector III for Research, Community Service, and Cooperation of the Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) Prof. Dr. Poppy Anjelisa Zaitun Hasibuan, S.Si., M.Si., Apt together with all supporting components under her commitment to realize the Enhancing Quality Education for International University Recognition (EQUITY) Program. This was conveyed during the routine morning roll call at the USU Central Bureau of Administration Building on Monday (04/09/2023).

The EQUITY program is an important step to improve the quality of USU, so that it can reach the 500 World Class University ranking. By focusing on developing high-quality human resources, developing relevant research, and innovating in learning approaches.

USU Vice Rector III explained the importance of the EQUITY program for improving the learning process. Such as curriculum, learning methods, integration of Tri Dharma, and improvement of learning facilities / infrastructure that will continue to undergo transformation from old ways to new innovative ways.

“The EQUITY program is our commitment to improve various aspects of higher education, including curriculum, teaching quality, facilities, research, and community service,” explained Prof. Poppy.

With a spirit of collaboration and high determination, USU's Vice Rector III hopes that all stakeholders will contribute through innovative and creative ideas, as well as provide positive energy to achieve USU's big vision in the implementation of an optimal EQUITY program.

“I hope we can all contribute with ideas, energy, and enthusiasm to achieve this big vision and realize the success of the EQUITY program,” said Prof. Poppy.

Finally, USU Vice Chancellor III appreciated the entire work team under the USU Research, Community Service, and Cooperation Division who always work hard and work smart in realizing USU's quality improvement, to become an international standard university.

“Thank you for your commitment to realizing this vision, and let us work hard together towards a better future for USU,” said Prof. Poppy.
