USU Holds Alumni Gathering Titled Employer Reputation
"This is called the Employer Reputation Program, which gathers alumni in a gathering to prepare for USU Back Home so that alumni can care more about returning to campus. Yes, we hope that it will increase, our ranking will increase, and the education services will be better and more internationally standardized,” said the USU Rector.
USU PR - The Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) held an Alumni Gathering in the North Sumatra Region with the title “Employer Reputation Program”. One of the series of activities for the 70th USU Anniversary was held at the JW Marriot Hotel Medan on Saturday, (22/10/2022).
Rector of the Universitas Sumatera Utara, Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Si, said that the Employer Reputation Program activity has the aim of inviting alumni to reunite and stay in touch. The alumni should not hesitate to return to campus and are expected to care about the development of USU.
The USU Rector added that increasing the ranking of the Universitas Sumatera Utara and improving educational services with international standards can be realized through cooperation between the academic community, students, and USU alumni.

Director of the Directorate of Student Achievement and USU Alumni Relations Doli Muhammad Jafar Dalimunthe SE, M.Si explained that later there will be a program by inviting alumni to contribute materially and non-materially.
“Our concrete steps to invite alumni to return to fill classes that contribute materially and non-materially will later harmonize the university's relationship with alumni,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Director of the USU Directorate of Internationalization and Global Partnerships, Prof. Dr. Eng. Himsar Ambarita, S.T., M.T reported that this alumni gathering activity is in line with the achievement of USU's vision and mission in achieving World Class University. For this reason, alumni are highly expected to play an active role in achieving university internationalization.
“At the same time, we are harmonizing with the process of achieving usu's vision, so usu's vision now is that we are being prepared with other PTN-BH to enter the ranks of the World Class University,” he concluded.
