USU Rector Prof. Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Si., expressed his delight at the award, which he sees as one of the greatest achievements of USU's Faculty of Law.
MEDAN – USU Public Relations: Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) has been recognized as the Best State Law University in Western Indonesia at the 2024 Top Indonesia Law School event, organized by Hukumonline.com in Jakarta on Thursday, Aug. 15, 2024.
The Top Indonesian Law Schools Ranking 2024 is both a ranking and an appreciation event that honors law schools across Indonesia for producing legal practitioners, especially those who have become partners at prominent law firms in the country. A total of 71 law faculties from public and private universities across Indonesia participated in the event.
This annual event, organized by Hukumonline, acknowledges law faculties that have successfully produced competent and ethical graduates who play significant roles in shaping the future of law in Indonesia.
USU Rector Prof. Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Si., expressed his delight at the award, which he sees as one of the greatest achievements of USU's Faculty of Law.
"We hope this achievement will motivate USU's Faculty of Law to continue to explore its best potential, contribute to increasing public trust in the implementation and regulation of law in Indonesia, and produce credible and competent alumni who will uphold the law and ensure justice for the Indonesian people. We also aim to strengthen collaboration and synergy with various parties to further enhance the quality of our law graduates," he said.
Meanwhile, the Dean of USU’s Faculty of Law, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, S.H., M.Hum., in his brief remarks while receiving the award, expressed his gratitude to Hukumonline for recognizing the efforts of Universitas Sumatera Utara’s Faculty of Law.
"This is an honor for the efforts made by the university to improve the quality of education in Indonesia. Collaboration is the key word in facing the era of disruption. Therefore, we hope that collaboration between universities and Hukumonline will continue to strengthen in the future," concluded Dr. Mahmul.
