USU's Diploma Program in Accounting Undergoes LAMEMBA Accreditation Assessment

“We are optimistic that the D-3 Accounting Study Program can maintain the Superior accreditation that has been achieved previously,” said the USU Rector.
USU PR - The Diploma Program in Accounting, Faculty of Vocational Studies, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), underwent a field assessment process by the Institute for Self-Accreditation of Business Management Economics and Accounting (LAMEMBA). This activity took place at the USU Faculty of Vocational Studies Hall on Tuesday-Wednesday (17-18/09/24).
The assessor team on duty were Dr. Ely Suhayati, SE, M.Si, Ak, CA from Universitas Komputer Indonesia and Desi Handayani, SE, M.Ak, Ak. CA. from Politeknik Negeri Padang. Their presence aims to evaluate the quality of study programs and provide recommendations for further improvement.
USU Rector, Prof. Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Si., in his speech expressed his appreciation for the efforts of all parties involved in the preparation of this assessment. He hopes that the assessment process will run smoothly and produce positive results. He is optimistic that the Diploma Program in Accounting can maintain the Superior accreditation that has been achieved previously.

Meanwhile, the Dean of the USU Faculty of Vocational Studies, Prof. Dr. Isfenti Sadalia, S.E., M.E., explained that the transfer of the Diploma Program in Accounting to the Faculty of Vocational Studies in 2022 has opened up new opportunities for study program development. She hopes that this assessment can further strengthen the position of Accounting Study Program in the academic arena.
“We are sure that with the support of all parties, the Diploma Program in Accounting will continue to develop and produce quality graduates.” hoped the Dean of FV USU.
For information, the USU Diploma Program in Accounting currently only has two batches left and no longer accepts new students. This is in line with the University Academic Senate policy which has established the establishment of the Diploma Program in Accounting Public Sector.
