VR IV USU Committed to Updating to Updating the System & Web

USU PR - Vice Rector (WR) IV for Information, Planning, and Development of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) Prof. Dr. Opim Salim Sitompul, M.Sc. together with all work units under him, are committed to realizing development and improvement in university systems and websites. This was conveyed at the implementation of a routine morning ceremony at the USU Central Bureau of Administration Building, on Monday (11/09/2023).
The activity was attended by all work units under the leadership of VR IV, which included the Directorate of Digitalization and System Integration, the Bureau of Information Systems, Planning, and Development, the Priority Program Evaluation Section, and the Information Systems Center (PSI).
In his mandate, VR IV highlighted three things. First, completing the development of an enterprise system in collaboration with PT Telkom Indonesia. Second, the development and understanding of the website of all work units at USU. Finally, the improvement of the online Work Plan and Budget (RKA) system to optimize the use of 51 work units at USU.
VR IV revealed that he has prepared the 2024 Planning and Development Conference, which will be used to formulate a list of activities and the required budget allocation. The program is planned to take place in November.
"In terms of planning and development, we are preparing the Planning and Development Conference, for 2024," said Prof. Opim.
Furthermore, VR IV said that the output of the deliberation is the RKA which details the activities and budget for 51 work units. Through this RKA, each work unit has clear guidelines regarding the activities that will be carried out in the next year.

Finally, WR IV outlined the desired result as the achievement of the Main Performance Indicators (IKU), which includes 8 main indicators and 2 Special Performance Indicators (IKK). Prof. Dr. Opim Salim Sitompul, M.Sc.also highlighted the 2024 Strategic Plan (Renstra) as the second stage and priority programs as the third stage, which must be achieved by each work unit activity.
"The achievement is the KPI, yes. So, yes three goals must be achieved so that all activities carried out by the work unit, and must be based on one or all three goals," explained Prof. Opim.
