The morning is half over, inching towards noon with warming sunlight. The clear blue sky shaded the Moot Court Building located in the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara. The optimistic atmosphere lasted from Friday (4/2/2022) to Saturday (5/2/2022). The crowd did not seem to stop in the faculty that was in the midst of celebrating its 68th Anniversary.

USU Transformation Throughout 2021
The Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), under the leadership of Rector Dr. Muryanto Amin and his staff, has transformed to achieve various achievements and work programs throughout 2021. Targets that are in line with the objectives of the USU Strategic Plan 2020-2024 in realizing the internationalization of USU, the USU Rector's Work Program 2021-2026, and penetrating the 500 QS WUR ranking have been carried out. One of them is the “Exist Program,” which is applied in general policy for five years, namely focusing on Excellent Human Integrity, Smart Friendly and Green Campus, Global Society Impact, Good University Governance, and Sustainable Funding.

USU's 34th PIMNAS is Officially Opened! 735 Teams Ready to Compete
The 34th National Student Science Week (PIMNAS) at the Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) was officially opened on Tuesday (26/10/2021) at the USU Rector Bureau Page, Padang Bulan Campus, Medan. Filled with a variety of 8 ethnic dances typical of North Sumatra Province by students on a magnificent stage, colorful spotlights, VVIPs, university leaders, and invited guests pressed the button to mark the opening of PIMNAS 34 USU.

Serving in Kampung Nelayan Seberang and Mangrove Area
The area of Kampung Nelayan Seberang, located in Belawan I Urban Village, Medan Belawan Subdistrict, is quite difficult to access by outsiders. To reach this village, it is not easy. We have to sail the sea using small motorboats that are often docked at the Belawan pier. This condition then resulted in Kampung Nelayan Seberang becoming an area that experienced a slowdown in infrastructure development and the economy of the community.
