USU Teaching Hospital
USU Teaching Hospital is an entity of the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia, established in 2011 and managed by the Universitas Sumatera Utara. Located directly opposite the USU campus, the USU Teaching Hospital educates doctors, specialists, and other health workers. USU Hospital also has another role as a class C hospital that accommodates public health services, including outpatient and inpatient services with a capacity of 400 beds, an emergency room with 24-hour service, 12 surgical rooms, 18 delivery rooms, 42 intensive care beds, hemodialysis services, and medical rehabilitation. The USU Hospital is also equipped with radio diagnostic equipment, clinical laboratories, and other service facilities/equipment to support the implementation of hospital functions.
