USU PR: The management of the Alumni Association (IKA) of the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of North Sumatra (USU), for the term 2022-2026, was launched on March 13, 2023, in the Faculty of Pharmacy Hall. Due to this inauguration, Sri Suriani Purnawati S.Si., M.Kes, became the Chairperson of the IKA Pharmaceutical Management.

Khairunnisa S.So., M.Pharm., Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, who attended the ceremony, praised the inauguration of the new IKA Pharmacy USU management. She anticipates that IKA members will contribute to the development and advancement of the Faculty of Pharmacy.

"As Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, I truly value today's board inauguration. Having stated that the faculty and IKA Pharmacy are inseparable, I sincerely hope that the contribution of IKA Pharmacy can be built jointly," she added.

"After this inauguration, the IKA Faculty of Pharmacy board will have a work meeting, create a work schedule, and document the existence of alumni." Sri Suriani Purnawati S.Si., M.Kes., the head of the IKA Faculty of Pharmacy at USU, stated.

The Chairperson of IKA Faculty of Pharmacy USU explained, "Of course, we will hold a work meeting for all administrators to create programs, as the Dean stated earlier, that our primary objective is to record alumni, where the alumni are, so that with this data we can determine the extent of the potential of existing alumni, and then what roles and contributions we can make to the Faculty of Pharmacy to improve performance, contribute to the advancement of the Faculty of Pharmacy."

In addition, the Head of the IKAFaculty of Pharmacy said there would be member development-related collaboration in the IT, arts, and sports domains, among others. She expects that the upcoming working conference will generate a program that can increase the alumni's contribution to the welfare of the USU School of Pharmacy
