Officially launched in 2005, the USU Dental and Oral Hospital is a Type C Hospital that specializes in academic support services by prioritizing service, education, and research. The USU Dental and Oral Hospital supports dental education, which is expected to improve the quality of the teaching and learning process at the Faculty of Dentistry. USU Dental and Oral Hospital serves 8 fields of basic and specialist dental services, namely Orthodontic services, Prosthodontic Services, Dental Conservation Services, Periodontic Services, Oral Surgery Services, Oral Disease Services, Pediatric Dentistry Services, and Community Dental Health Services. In addition to educational purposes, the USU Dental and Oral Hospital is a public dental health service center with an outpatient system equipped with a pharmacy, radiology, and sterilization center medical support services.
